
Stuffed Peppers
Serves 8
- 8 large bell peppers
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 lb. pork sausage
- 1 medium onion, chopped and sautéed until translucent
- 2 large potatoes, peeled and finely chopped
- 1 cup uncooked oats
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Cut peppers in half, place in water and boil for 5 minutes; drain. Mix other ingredients and stuff into peppers. Bake at 325°F for 50 minutes or until meat is cooked; cool slightly then serve.
