
Fresh Salsa
Serves 8-10
- 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1 medium onion
- 2-4 jalapeno peppers
- 1 tsp. cilantro (use 1 Tbsp. if using fresh)
- 1 tsp. cumin
- 3/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 1-1½ tsp. vinegar
- 1 small can green chilies (optional)
- 2-4 diced tomatoes, seeds removed
Blend all ingredients except diced tomatoes. Mix sauce and tomatoes. Let sit in the refrigerator until flavors blend, at least 30 minutes. Serve with your favorite dippers.
