This year the market will have many special events. Grilling and food preparation demonstrations with expert chefs will take place throughout the summer. Another regular event will be the “Ask the Garden Experts” booth. Bring your questions about your plants. More special events will be posted on the Events page!

The Farmers Market operates 7 days a week from mid-April thru late December. Please check the About page for detailed hours depending on the time of year.

The Boone County Cooperative Extension Service sponsors the Boone County Farmers Market with the daily operation overseen by the Boone County Farmers Market Association. All products sold at the market are exclusively grown or processed with materials grown in Northern Kentucky. Support your local producer and buy fresh!

 

Summer is in full swing and all the fresh produce you have come to expect is finally here on a daily basis in large quantities, so come out to the Boone County Farmers Market today as we have your summer favorites readily available!  Below you will find a partial list of the current offerings.  Remember, the market is open 7 days a week 9a.m. – 6p.m. to serve you!

 

  Make sure and join us this Saturday, July 20th from 10a.m. – 1p.m. for Plate It Up!  This is our newest educational cooking demonstration.  As always, these events are free and open to the public brought to you by the Boone County Cooperative Extension Service.

 

  Due to a scheduling conflict, next Saturday, July 27th Chef Maggie Green; Author of the KY Fresh Cookbook who was scheduled to be here for her wonderful cooking demos will not be able to be here.  Rest assured that she will still be here for her next scheduled appearance on Saturday, September 28th.  We will have musical entertainment next Saturday, July 27th to fill the void as Dave Gilligan’s Midlife Crisis Ramblers will be here performing live for the very first time from 10a.m. – Noon!
